Scholarships Available!

I am about to open up my next round of Parenting Classes and so it seemed a good time to share some exciting news! I now have some limited scholarship spots available to allow parents to participate in my Parenting Classes at a reduced cost. Although I have always operated these classes on a sliding scale basis, River's Bend Psychology was recently lucky enough to be the the recipient of a fundraiser led by a local high school senior in order to secure funds for designated SPACE Scholarships.

Ryder Williams, a local senior at Bend High School, created a Fundraiser with the school Psychology club to support local families dealing with childhood anxiety disorders. To help raise funds and awareness, Ryder and the psychology club designed and sold wristbands with the message to “make SPACE for anxiety awareness” and chose the color teal for anxiety disorder awareness.  The fundraiser sold over 200 bracelets in order to support local families!

Due to Ryder's efforts over the past year, I am happy to offer up these scholarship spots to families who are dealing with childhood anxiety. These spots will assist parents in participating in my SPACE parenting classes, an evidence-based, parent-led intervention to reduce childhood anxiety symptoms.
